Bring Ramen up a notch.

Some ideas for what can be added to Ramen to bring it up a notch.


  • thin sliced cabbage
  • baby spinach
  • shredded carrots
  • snow peas
  • unseasoned beef
  • unseasoned chicken breast
  • scallions
  • tofu
  • seaweed
  • peppers (any type is fine)
  • mushrooms
  • leeks
  • ginger
  • corn


  • hard boiled egg
  • fried egg
  • soy sauce
  • hot sauce
  • toasted sesame seeds
  • Lime juice
  • peanut butter (this makes it a bit like Thai noodles)
  • Spam


  • substitute the flavor pack with a bouillon cube
  • substitute the ramen noodles with rice noodles
